Happy 2010 from My Kitchen Table to Yours
Lets make 2010 the year of eating fresh, nutritious food that is good for our bodies, minds and spirits. Lets forget about all the crazy diets of deprivation that are impossible to maintain more than a couple weeks, leaving us just starving for anything but so called diet food.
So let's commit to eating healthly fresh food, that is simple to prepare and that our families will love, we might even trim our waist lines a bit.
Our mantra should be eat and enjoy fresh healthly food in correct portions, so we can be the best we can be.
I am going to cook and share my fresh and delicious food with you, I hope you and your family will enjoy them as much as mine.
Eat Well, Live Well.

Good Morning Deb: You have a blog. WOW! Yours will be the first blog I have ever responded to. :) I loved your Sweetheart Pasta recipe. It looks terrific. I'll give it a try this weekend! Have you watched the movie Julie and Julia yet? I think you would love it. I have found myself totally re-inspired to get back into the kitchen since watching it. My main forrays into the world of healthy eating have been using the slow cooker this winter. Every weekend has seen us eagerly attempting new recipes. The lastest one we tried just this weekend was a Braised Curried Beef. It was a HUGE success!! Served with fluffy Basmati Rice, Curried Veggies, Naan and a cool Raita Sauce! YUM! The best part is the leftovers later in the week!! lol.... Means no heavy duty cooking for me those nights. Yay.....
ReplyDeleteOur house has also made a committment to healthy eating this year. Pop and Juice have been replaced with water and 1% Milk. What a difference!
Have a Happy Valentine's Day Deb. Give my Love to Chris and Cole. :)
